Frequently asked questions

Can customers pay a quote online?

Yes. Each payment request appears on the quote's page with a way to pay it online, and the customer pays by card, or by ACH bank transfer if you asked for one.

Can I take a deposit on a quote?

Yes. Request any amount up to what's left, as many times as you need. The quote shows as partially paid until the whole total is in.

Does the customer have to accept a quote before paying?

No, there is no separate accept step. Their first payment turns the quote into an order, or convert it to an order yourself.

Can I record a cash or check payment on a quote?

Yes. A cash or check payment you've already received counts toward the balance once you record it.

Is ACH available for every business?

ACH bank transfers are for US businesses only. Businesses outside the US request card payments.

Can a customer download a PDF of the quote?

Yes. Download the quote as a PDF straight from its page.
